New Casa Hogar vzw respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we collect, why we do so and what rights you have. It applies to our website and our activities.

Which data we collect

• Contact details you provide yourself: your name, e-mail address and possibly your phone number.
• Data linked to a donation or registration: the information needed to process your payment, participation or tax certificate.
• We do not store your payment details ourselves: these are handled directly by our payment partner Mollie.

What we use your data for

• To process donations, registrations and events and to provide you with a tax certificate.
• To answer your questions and communicate with you.
• To send our newsletter (see below).

Newsletter

We send our newsletter to everyone who signed up, and to our compañeros and board members. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter or by sending us an e-mail.

Payments

Online payments are processed via Mollie, our payment provider. Mollie handles your payment data securely. We only receive confirmation of your payment, not your full card or account details.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by Flywheel (WordPress hosting). Data you submit through the site is processed on those secure servers.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use Google Analytics and do not track your browsing behaviour. We only place functional cookies that are needed for the site to work, such as remembering your language choice.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which we collected it, or for as long as the law requires us to (for example for tax certificates). After that we delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its use. To do so, send an e-mail to casa@casahogar.be. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
