From the World Cup to
a better future
At the 1986 Mundial in Mexico, the Red Devils made an impression not only on the pitch. They also wanted to do something for the many underprivileged children in Toluca. And so Casa Hogar was founded, literally 'the house by the hearth'.
Since then, hundreds of orphaned and street children from drug and prostitution circles have been taken in and raised in this home. 30 years later, many Mexican children still don't get the opportunities they deserve.

What does Casa Hogar do?
Casa Hogar offers orphaned and street children in Mexico a chance at a better future by taking them to school every day and supporting them in their studies. The home is not a school, but a gateway to education, from primary education to vocational training and university studies.
Lives that changed
Andrés Jeronimo
Our youngest baby was too small and very vulnerable when he came to us. Thanks to ongoing care, he is able to catch up. Andrés is available for adoption.
Cristian Michel
Cristian Michel López Gonzáles came to Casa Hogar last year at the age of 12. He came from a federal orphanage, loves school and wants nothing more than to study.
Jonathan Enrique
Jonathan Enrique Barajas Bautista came to Casa Hogar in 2017, at the age of 12. He is now a civil engineer, married to Laura for 5 years and has a wonderful 2-year-old son, Fabrizio.

On 17 September 2022 we presented our new collaboration at the Basecamp in Knokke, giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to combine networking with a good cause.
As a Compañero, you can enter into a multi-year commitment with Casa Hogar to support our work financially.
We regularly give updates on the day-to-day life in our home and organise networking events in support of the home in Mexico.
