From the World Cup to
a better future
At the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, the Red Devils made an impression not only on the field. They also wanted to do something for the many underprivileged children in Toluca. And so Casa Hogar was founded, literally “the home by the hearth.”
Since then, this shelter has taken in and raised hundreds of orphans and street children from drug- and prostitution-related backgrounds. Thirty years later, many Mexican children still do not have the opportunities they deserve.
Would you like to join Casa Hogar in helping to provide a promising future for underprivileged children? Then please do your part by making a donation to this charity. ¡Gracias!
What does Casa Hogar do?
Casa Hogar offers orphaned and street children in Mexico a chance at a better future by taking them to school every day and supporting them in their studies. The shelter is not a school, but a gateway to education, ranging from elementary school to vocational training and university studies.
